A UKRAINIAN mum-of-one appeared in court today on a dangerous driving charge which it is alleged caused the death of a fellow countryman in the early hours of last Sunday morning.
The incident happened in the car park of the Cork Airport Hotel, which is currently accommodating refugees.

Andreii Nesterov, 49, who was also staying in the refugee centre was found by paramedics at the scene in a serious condition.
He was rushed by ambulance to Cork University Hospital where he died a short time later from his injuries.
Kseniia Vasylenko, 43, appeared before Cork District Court on a single charge of dangerous driving causing the death of Mr Nesterov on October 8 at Cork Airport Hotel, Lenaghmore, Cork.
Detective Garda Gary Brennan gave evidence of arrest and charge of the mum and said she made no reply to the charge.
He said he was objecting to bail because of the seriousness of the charge and the fact that the defendant, who has a five-year-old son, was considered a flight risk as she was not a resident in Ireland.
He told Judge Olann Kelleher that at 2.08am last Sunday the 43-year-old drove dangerously while behind the wheel, knocking down and injuring the victim.
He said the car was fitted with a dash cam which captured the incident of her allegedly driving dangerously.
Defending lawyer Frank Buttimer said the defendant had fled from war in Ukraine with her son, leaving her husband behind.
