Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien has been criticised for appearing alongside a prominent developer and party donor — who was one of the Anglo ‘Maple 10’ — at a €100-a-head Fianna Fáil golf fundraiser four days before the Budget.
O’Brien and Sean Reilly, one of the so-called Maple 10 of developers who bought shares in Anglo Irish Bank as it teetered on the brink of collapse, were pictured together at a local party golf classic fundraiser in Donabate Golf Club on Friday, October 6.
