Former senior UVF man accused of stealing 20 lamb chops from Tesco in shoplifting spree

Former senior UVF man Darren Moore has been charged with stealing 20 lamb chops and other goods from his local Tesco.

Three days before his 54th birthday, Moore was due to attend Ballymena Magistrates Court to face a raft of shoplifting and other charges but defence counsel Neil Moore told District Judge Nigel Broderick he had not shown up.
