First it was Russian Federation invading Ukraine on 24th February 2022. 7th October who would expect such an incendiary device as HAMAS who launched an attack that could only invoke the Israelis to such a degree that they are setting the stage for invasion of Gaza…the problem is every Arab state, Iran, Turkey, Lebon, China, Russia, Syria, Afghanistan, Egypt to name but a few angry countries. Hezbollah, ISIS, Daesh, and of course Hamas who lit the match and attacked Israel were just waiting for yet another attack on the West. Add to this Ecocide and the world is in decline because we are war incensed and Peace Deplete. We need a CEASEFIRE … we do want Gaza a bloodbath; 42% are children and there is indiscriminate bombing by Israel now for 20 days and we all know who is at the back Israel and not mentioned in this list, yes, US. We are heading for Armageddon. Detente, Peace see so facile. Highly recommend “Uncommon Knowledge: Steve Kotkin is worth watching; ….”.
