A Kanturk café owner who recovered from a drug addiction that he describes as “ten years of hell” is aiming to break the stigma that surrounds talking about addiction with his very own brand of coffee titled, ‘The Recovery Blend’.

Jack Tobin, 24, began using drugs at the age of 13 and spiralled into a decade of addiction from there but found the help he needed to recover in 2021 and went on to open the ‘Catch Up Café’ in Kanturk earlier this year.
