Man (20s) left with ‘serious injuries’ after stabbing in Co Clare

A man in his 20s was rushed to hospital after an assault in Co Clare last night.

It’s understood the man suffered serious injuries after being stabbed.

Gardaí are investigating the attack, which took place in Ennis at around 10.30pm on Tuesday.

The man was taken to hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.

A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí are investigating an assault that occurred in Ennis, County Clare yesterday evening, Tuesday 14th November 2023 at approximately 10.30pm.

“A male (aged in his 20s) was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

“Investigations are ongoing at this time.”
