Gardaí are investigating whether a fatal shooting in Finglas is linked to a recent verbal row the victim had with a local criminal with whom he was previously associated.

Brandon Ledwidge was gunned down just before 7pm on Saturday in Finglas in north Dublin. The 23-year-old was shot in the garden of a home on Barry Drive.
