Over half a million euros worth of luxury goods are up for auction

More than 100 different types of goods seized by the Criminal Assets Bureau (CAB) will be auctioned in December.

Starting on Friday, December 1 Wilsons Auctions will auction off the various luxury goods, worth over €500,000, on behalf of CAB in a public auction, with watches, gold bars and clothes up for grabs.

All of the items listed were seized by CAB under the proceeds of crime and as part of the Community Safety Innovation Fund set up in 2022, these criminal funds should be given back to communities across Ireland.

An extensive range of popular watches include various Rolex Submariners, Rolex Datejusts, an 18ct Gold Cartier Santos 100, two Limited Edition Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshores, a Hublot Big Bang, Rolex Daytonas, a Breitling Navitimer, a Tag Heuer Ladies Formula One as well as brands including Gucci and Raymond Weil.

For those who have a taste for fine jewellery, the auction offers numerous diamond rings, a 14ct white gold necklace, 14ct white gold bracelets, diamond earrings and an 18ct gold Cartier love bracelet.

A selection of Chanel and Louis Vuitton handbags are amongst other designer items including jackets such as a Moncler Two-Tone Harry Giubbotto Jacket and a Canada Goose Langford Parka Heritage Jacket.

Bidders will also find Louis Vuitton sunglasses and Louis Vuitton belts in the auction catalogue. Gold bars are also listed amongst the luxury and designer items, available to bidders in one-ounce packages.

Wilsons Auctions’ Director and Auctioneer, Ricky Wilson said: “We are delighted to be managing the sale for CAB.

“Wilsons Auctions is well known for dealing with seized goods. All the money raised from this auction will be paid directly back into the state. This is an ideal opportunity for bidders to get their hands on Christmas gifts.”
