Woman injured in Tallaght shooting as car and house set on fire

A woman was injured in Tallaght last night following a shooting at a house in the Jobstown area.
Gardai received reports of the shooting at around 10:10pm and the woman aged, in her 30s, presented to Tallaght Hospital with a suspected gunshot injury. Her injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
Later in the evening, gardai and emergency services attended incidents of criminal damage by fire of a car and of a house at separate locations in the Jobstown area. No other injuries were reported and no arrests have yet been made.
A garda spokesman said: “Scenes have been put in place by Gardai and technical examinations are ongoing. No arrests have been made at this time.
“Investigating Gardai are appealing to anyone who was in the Jobstown area, between 9.30pm and 3:00am, who may have witnessed these incidents to come forward. Gardai are appealing to those with camera footage or to any motorist with dash cam footage to make it available to them.
