Another Dublin bus has been set on fire in Parnell Square yesterday evening.
The incident occurred just a day after the riots that followed the horrific stabbings of three young children and a creche worker on Parnell Square. The riots resulted in the damage of three buses, one Luas tram, a number of Garda cars, as well as properties.
Last night, the seat of a bus parked on Parnell Square was set on fire. The alarm was raised by a passing Garda patrol and the fire was quickly extinguished. No customers were on board the bus and enquiries are ongoing.

Meanwhile, a Garda spokesman told us: “Gardai at Mountjoy are investigating an incident of fire damage to a seat on bus that was parked on Parnell Square West, Dublin 1 on Saturday evening, November 25. The alarm was raised by a passing Garda patrol and fire quickly extinguished.
