An inquiry into two social workers’ involvement in a Tusla file containing false sex abuse allegations against garda whistleblower, Maurice McCabe is to be held in private.

The fitness-to-practice hearing had been expected to take place in public, but the committee chairperson ruled today that members of the public and media will be excluded.
