Two teens arrested after early morning break-in at business on Dublin’s Henry Street

Two teenagers have been arrested after a break-in at a business on Henry Street, Dublin 1 in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Both suspects, aged in their late teens, have since been charged in relation to the burglary and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning at 10.30am.

Gardaí said that at approximately 1am, four people entered a business premises on Henry Street and removed a large amount of property.

“Gardaí located two males a short distance away with this property and both men were arrested and taken to a garda station in the city centre of Dublin where they were detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984,” a garda spokesperson said.

“Both men have since been charged in relation to this burglary and are due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice, this morning Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at 10.30am.”

Gardaí added that investigations are ongoing.
