Solicitor’s appeal in €750,000 overcharging case dismissed after 32-month wait for ruling

The Court of Appeal took two years and eight months to deliver a ruling ­dismissing a legal challenge taken by a solicitor found to have overcharged a client by €750,000.

The unusually long wait for a judgment came in an already protracted legal battle over bills charged by ­solicitor Joe Buckley to publican and farmer ­Denis Doyle.
