Two men seriously injured in suspected stabbing in Dublin City centre

Two men have been hospitalised after a suspected stabbing incident on Hardwicke Street in Dublin city centre this evening.

Gardaí are investigating the incident which occurred just before 8pm on the street.

Two men were later taken to the Mater Hospital to be treated for apparent stab wounds.

Their injuries are understood to be serious but not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made at this time and investigations are ongoing, a garda spokesperson said.
