Policing is at ‘breaking point’ – GRA calls for action on pensions to stop record numbers leaving force

The Garda Representative Association (GRA) is urging the Government to address pension deficiencies to help stop record numbers of recruits leaving the force.

A GRA member has described policing as being “at a breaking point” despite successive increases in the garda budget while attacks on members have become a common occurrence.
