The ex-wife of Irish businessman Sean Dunne has filed appeal papers with the United States Supreme Court, challenging a jury finding that the Celtic Tiger-era property developer fraudulently transferred millions of euro in assets to her.

The latest twist in the decade-long bankruptcy came just weeks after a US federal appeals court dismissed separate appeals by Dunne (69) and his ex-spouse Gayle Killilea (48) against a jury finding which made her liable to pay €18m in damages to a bankruptcy trustee.
