A Criminal Assets Bureau (Cab) target who was at the centre of a high-profile dispute over a widow’s will is being pursued over a €185,000 debt amid claims of fraud.

Peter O’Toole, a former bankrupt with convictions for forgery and deception, was the main beneficiary of the will of distant relative Margaret Hernon, a childless 91-year-old Co Galway farmer who died in 2017 leaving an estate valued at 9 million.
