Children in the inner city are continually failed by the state, which leaves them open to being groomed into gangs and criminality. There needs to be more funding made available for social workers, youth & community workers to support and meet the needs of the areas affected

Add a little nostalgia to those oldies who were around in the 1970’s.

Yes cars were parked along the Quays. There were hideous objects where you put in your coins to park for an hour and if you failed the man in the brown coat was there to give you a ticket and a fine…the clever inner city boys had it taped. If you returned to car, saw the ticket, and they saw you, they asked the question if we get rid of the ticket what will you give us…then the deed was done, they jumped the man in the brown coat and threw his notebook into the Liffey. Bye Bye fines for many.
