Specialist detectives have made their latest move against the international Black Axe gang. Officers arrested a suspect they believe played a key role in laundering money connected to the criminal enterprise’s operations in Ireland.
The suspect, who was arrested in west Dublin earlier this week, has since been released from custody at Blanchardstown garda station. He became a “person of major interest” following a garda raid at a property in Tallaght last year.
