Republic of Ireland: This is a shocking indictment of our health service provision for those who are most vulnerable, our children. Scoliosis needs prompt attention. From what we are hearing in the media recently children are at risk of being confined to wheelchairs/paralysis because of HSE bureaucracy and not having the consultants, doctors, nurses etc to carry out the necessary operations. Priorities must be our children, vulnerable, poverty stricken, homeless and many other groups of people.
