Gardaí uncovered an illegal rave in Dublin 4 which included a makeshift DJ booth, bar and quantities of drugs after revellers phoned emergency services when a woman took ill after taking ketamine.
Gardaí in Donnybrook received a call on radio in the early hours of Monday morning, with the caller saying that a woman had taken ill after using ketamine at an address in Dublin 4.

“When they arrived to the scene there were dozens of people raving away – makeshift DJ booth, bar and all – having paid €15 each to attend,” gardaí said on their Instagram page.
Gardaí discovered quantities of ketamine, MDMA, acid and Alprazolam tablets (Xanax) at the property.

They stressed that the property was in breach of “all health and fire safety regulations” and was cleared right away along with Dublin Fire Brigade.
Gardaí reported that the woman who had taken ill after taking ketamine has now made a full recovery.
“Our enquiries are ongoing in co-ordination with Dublin Fire Brigade,” they added.
