Gardaí have arrested 10 men after foiling a suspected plot to smuggle millions of euros worth of drugs into Ireland. Officers from the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureaus were centrally involved in the operation in rural West Cork. No drugs have been seized yet, but investigators believe an international drugs gang was attempting to land cocaine in the area.

Sources say an Irishman was driving the lorry when it was stopped near Skibbereen early yesterday, while two Dutch nationals were in the SUV.
