Daughter of man who died in Limerick hospital ‘after lying on floor for an hour’ says he passed ‘with no dignity’

A call was made for hospitals to review how they “do things and how they communicate”

A MAN who may have been lying on the floor of an Irish hospital dead for over an hour passed away “with no dignity”, his daughter has said.

Martin Abbott, 65, died in December 2019 at University Hospital Limerick three days after presenting with fever, cough and diarrhoea.
