This is the woman accused of indecently assaulting a boy more than three decades ago.

Mary O’Neill faces six charges dating back to 1986 and all allegedly committed against the same boy.

The 61-year-old appeared at Belfast Magistrates Court last week for a hearing which saw the case sent to the crown court.

Court documents allege O’Neill, of Ligoniel Road in north Belfast, indecently assaulted the child on six separate occasions on dates unknown between May 1986 and December 1989.

Following the hearing District Judge Steven Keown freed O’Neill on her own bail and ordered her to return to Belfast Crown Court on a date to be fixed.
