THE couple arrested on suspicion of the murder of the Kerry baby haven’t heard anything about Jim Sheridan’s new film on the infamous tragedy.
Solicitor Padraig O’Connell said his clients have yet to be approached by the top director.

Oscar-nominated Jim is working on a feature film about the Kerry Babies murder which gripped Ireland in the 1980s.
The flick is due to come out in 2025.
Sheridan has been in touch with solicitor Pat Mann, who has represented the innocent woman at the centre of the controversy, Joanne Hayes, and her family for 40 years.
He vowed the movie will be factual, aiming to “honour and exonerate” Joanne, who was wrongly accused of the killing and got a cop apology. But Mr O’Connell — whose clients were arrested last March on suspicion of being Baby John’s parents — is in the dark over plans. Asked if he’d had any contact from the filmmaker about his clients, he told us: “No.”
And asked how he thought they would feel about the movie, he said: “I have no idea how they would feel about it but he [Sheridan] would have to make contact.”
The man, aged in his 60s, and his partner, in her 50s, were quizzed at different Garda stations last year.
They were both released without charge pending a file going to the DPP
But since last year, they have yet to hear back about the status of the investigation.
Mr O’Connell said they are “living in total limbo”.
‘Insufferable delay’
He added: “I am at a loss to understand why this insufferable delay has been visited upon them by these bodies of the State. It is utterly dehumanising. They are trying to live their lives with this hanging over them.
“I have been in contact with the Gardai trying to find out what the up to date position is. My understanding is that the file has not gone to the DPP up to recently. It is unbelievable.”
