GOGGLEBOX Ireland fans have been left devastated after the “unexpected” passing of a former star.

Tributes are being paid to Siobhán Cuffe Wallace after her death was announced.

Siobhán and her husband Dr Pat Wallace, the former director of the National Museum of Ireland, first appeared on the show back in 2017.

Siobhán passed away at Blackrock Hospital on April 3.

Her death notice reads: “The death has occurred of Siobhán Cuffe Wallace 3rd April 2024 (peacefully, but unexpectedly) in the gentle care of the staff at Blackrock Hospital.

“Beloved wife of Pat Wallace. Pre-deceased by her sister Sarah.
