This is the man due to stand trial accused of blackmailing more than a dozen women for explicit photos and videos.

Christopher Morrow faces a total of 18 charges in a case which dates back to January last year.

Court documents state Morrow allegedly made an “unwarranted demand” of sexual images and videos “with menaces” from 16 different women.

He is further accused of harassing one of the women and, on a final count, of possession of an extreme pornographic image.

All the alleged offences are said to have been committed between January and April last year.

The 27-year-old stood in the dock at Belfast Crown Court on Thursday where the clerk put all 18 charges to him.

As each alleged offence was read he replied “not guilty”.

Morrow’s barrister told Judge Donna McColgan KC the case was ready to proceed to trial which a barrister for the Crown said she expected to last two weeks.

Judge McColgan adjourned the case for a review hearing next month and fixed a trial date of September 30.

Morrow, of Rochester Road in east Belfast, was freed on continuing bail.

When asked to comment on the case outside court Morrow made no reply.
