RAPE beast Larry Murphy was tailed by police on a recent holiday to Lanzarote.

The notorious kidnapper and suspect in the disappearance of 19-year-old Deirdre Jacob spent a week on the Spanish holiday island popular with Irish tourists to watch the Cheltenham Festival last month.

Detectives visited a number of Irish bars around the resort town of Puerto Del Carmen to warn them Murphy was on the island and to stay vigilant.

They also asked them to alert their female clients to steer clear of him.

The 57-year-old sex monster has been living in London under the false name Charley Doyle since he was freed from jail over a decade ago.

A member of Lanzarote’s Irish community said: “The local police called to a number of Irish pubs around Puerto Del Carmen and told them Larry Murphy was on the island and to be careful of him.
