Three men caught retrieving €4.2m of cocaine from hidden panels in truck are jailed for 8 years each

Three men were jailed for eight years after being caught by gardaí attempting to retrieve €4.2m worth of cocaine hidden behind panels in a refrigerated container truck which had just arrived at Cork Port.

Albanian nationals Gentjan Dodaj (39) and his brother, Donatel Dodaj (30), with addresses at Paradise Row, Athlone, Co Westmeath, and Romanian national Daniel Afedoaei (23) of Slí an Aifreann, Athlone, Co Westmeath, were jailed before Cork Circuit Criminal Court.
