Gardaí are investigating after a man in his 30s was viciously assaulted at a Dart station in Dublin.
The attack took place at Station Road in Sutton, Dublin 13 on Saturday at 7pm.
A garda spokesperson said: “Gardaí in Howth received a report of an assault that occurred on the Station Road in Sutton, Dublin 13, at approximately 7pm on Saturday 11th May 2024.
“A man in his 30s sustained non-life threatening injuries as a result of the assault.”
A video of the incident circulating on social media shows the man being kicked and punched in the head while on the ground by more than six attackers, apparently aged in their teens, in broad daylight.
After the attackers flee, the man who sustained a bloody face in the assault can be seen on video raising his thumb up while getting up from the ground as a passer-by looks to assist him.
“Investigations into the incident are ongoing,” a garda spokesperson added
