THIS is the top trombonist who has been locked up for sexually abusing his sister during their childhood.
The Irish Sun pictures Karl Ronan for the first time after he was exposed over the torment that devastated the life of his younger sibling.

Courageous survivor Lynn Ronan waived her anonymity following the conclusion of the case last week so her pervert brother – caged for five and a half years – could be named.
Facing him down in court, brave Lynn told him: “You very nearly got away with this. All I wanted was to feel this was not my fault and stop the lies.”
Fiend Karl, 55, raped and indecently assaulted Lynn, 51, over four years at locations in Dublin and Laois between 1982 and 1986.
Lynn was aged just ten years old while Karl was 14 when he repeatedly attacked her.
The Central Criminal Court heard how Ronan’s devious actions were “swept under the carpet”.
We can reveal how as an adult, he studied at the prestigious Royal Irish Academy of Music and went on to become a leading jazz musician.
One career bio reads: “As one of the most versatile trombonists in the country he is involved in a wide variety of musical projects.
“As well as his Jazz performing he freelances with the National Symphony Orchestra of Ireland and has performed, toured and recorded extensively with them.
On his own Linkedin page, Ronan wrote that he was a freelance professional trombonist from the years of 1988 in a variety of genres but also described himself as “educator, mentor, improvisor”.
He also worked as a voice-over artist and was involved in many musical organisations, including the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland & Peace Proms.
But his evil crimes would come back to haunt him when they were reported in 2018.
Garda Sergeant Paul Daly told the Central Criminal Court the investigation began after Lynn made a disclosure of childhood sexual abuse during a counselling session.
Childhood abuse
Lynn described how the abuse started with her brother creeping into her room to touch her.
It then escalated into him forcing her to masturbate him and ultimately raping her.Afterwards, Lynn said: “I want to thank every person who has helped me through this, namely the Gardai and detectives, my legal counsel, the Victim Support Group within the courthouse and most importantly my wonderful sons.“It has been a long process over many years but I am very pleased with the judge’s ruling.
