Two people have been arrested after a man was injured during an assault in Dublin overnight.

Gardaí are currently investigating the incident that occurred on Cathedral Street, which is adjacent to O’Connell Street in the city centre, in the early hours of this morning.

A man was injured during the assault and two people were arrested.

Investigations are ongoing, a garda spokesperson confirmed.
