One of Ireland’s most notorious organised crime gangs have threatened to track down and punish a young man who fled to Australia after he allegedly “lost” a machine gun controlled by them.

The young north Dublin man fled to the other side of the world after his family home was burnt to the ground by members of the so-called monkey gang during the Christmas period.
