A landlord who evicted a mother and daughter from a rental property in west Cork and buried one of their cars in a field “because it was an eyesore” has avoided conviction.

Colin O’Sullivan (46), of Carrigillihy, Union Hall, appeared before Skibbereen District Court accused of damaging a Chrysler Voyager mini-van belonging to his former tenant, Gabriela Lake.
