Young worker ‘was dragged and had a syringe held to her face during restaurant robbery’, court told

A man held an uncapped syringe in front of a restaurant worker’s face and threatened her before ripping the till drawer out and fleeing in a city centre robbery, it is alleged.

David Gallagher (38) is accused of holding the young woman at syringe-point while demanding money, leaving her “very shaken”.
