Man, 40s, rushed to hospital by ambulance after ‘serious assault’ in Dublin as investigators probing attack

A MAN in his 40s has been rushed to hospital after a serious assault in Dublin.

The attack happened on Cardiffsbridge Road in Finglas, Co Dublin, in the early hours of this morning.

Emergency services raced to the scene after being alerted to the incident.

The victim, a man in his 40s, was removed from the scene by ambulance to Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown.

He is currently being treated for his injuries, which are understood to be non-life threatening.

No arrests have been made and Gardai say investigations are ongoing.A spokesperson said: “Gardai in Finglas are investigating a serious assault that occurred on Cardiffsbridge Road, Finglas in the early hours of this morning Saturday 1st June, 2024.
