CAB seize €157k from couple who ran online ecstasy and cannabis business from suburban house
Lukasz Cichocki and Julia Mossakowska dealt in cannabis and ecstasy from their semi-detached home, according to the Criminal Assets Bureau

A COUPLE who ran a lucrative on-line drugs delivery service from a suburban Dublin house which they bought for cash have had €157,000 seized from them.
Lukasz Cichocki and Julia Mossakowska dealt in cannabis and ecstasy from their semi-detached, according to the Criminal Assets Bureau.
Customers made contact with them through social media and orders were then delivered by car from the house they used as their base.
A double room in the Clonsilla house, which wasn’t part of the CAB case, is currently being advertised for rent at €950 with three other tenants in the property.
The advert gives ‘Lucas’ as the renter and states that the owner doesn’t live there.
The Bureau recently got a High Court order to have the money which was found during a garda raid there declared the proceeds of crimehe couple didn’t appear in court to challenge the case against them which was based on an investigation by the Dublin Crime Response Team.
A Detective Garda Inspector said in evidence the couple “were identified as having a significant and ongoing role in the supply of a number of controlled drugs in the region.”
He added “it became clear” they were living “far in excess of their legitimate means and that there as significant evidence that they were involved in the sale and supply of drugs.”

The couple’s home at Mount Symon Green was identified by gardaí in March 2023 and a search was carried out in which “a large quantity of drugs and a large amount of cash was seized.”
Both Cichocki and Mossakowska were arrested and interviewed during which Cichocki took responsibility for the drugs and cash while she made no comment.Det Supt Gubbins added that Lukasz Cichocki was “also a person of interest in respect of a large-scale cannabis cultivation in Co Meath in 2013.”

Judge Alex Owens said there were inconsistent explanations regarding the origin of the cash.
