Jonathan Dowdall has put his Dublin home up for sale with an asking price of almost €800,000 ahead of his expected prison release next year and potential relocation overseas under the witness protection programme (WPP).

In 2022 the 45-year-old former Sinn Féin councillor pleaded guilty to facilitating the murder of David Byrne at the Regency Hotel in 2016, following his decision to turn State’s witness against his one-time friend Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch.
