A 41-year old man has been before a special district court sitting in Killarney, Co Kerry, charged with murdering his brother.

Paudie O’Connor died after he was found with serious injuries at a house at An Caisleán Mór in nearby Castleisland in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Tonight, his younger brother Fergus O’Connor, with an address at Scartaglen Village in Co Kerry, was charged with his murder when he was brought before Judge Joanne Carroll.
