TED Talk: Child Sexual Abuse in Ireland is being passed off as “endemic” and short sentences ensue. This woman talks “Truth” in a way that our Judiciary should pay heed to abusers, their TRIAD personalities yes psychopathic, Machiavellian, manipulator. Child sexual abusers are worse than rapists. They have no treatment to change their behaviours yet so removal from society to prison is the only way. Thank you Pennie Saum for bravery and improving the lives of others through your experience of abuse. 17 years was the sentence her father received; sadly her mother died of cancer. 2nd video is Jamie Forbes opening up conversations about “Recovering from Male Sexual Abuse.” People like Jamie should be in the Irish schools alerting children to sexual abuse. If it is so “endemic” tackle it through conversation and education of those most likely exposed to it; also now that smartphone youngsters are going straight to porn; this means trouble.
