Gardaí investigating the murder of Robbie Lawlor – who was shot dead in 2020 – have seized a number of mobile phones.
They were seized during searches which were carried out as part of an ongoing investigation into the murder of Mr Lawlor in Belfast on 4 April, 2020.
The 36-year-old, who was originally from Dublin, was shot dead outside a house on Etna Drive in north Belfast.
As part of the Cross Border Joint Action Task Force, gardaí conducted searches at 12 premises in Dublin and Sligo this morning with the Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI).
This joint investigation is led by the Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the PSNI Major Investigation Team with the support of Eurojust, the European Union Agency for Criminal Justice Co-Operation.
In May, a man was detained for questioning in relation to the murder.
