Posted by A man has been arrested after another man died in hospital following an assault in Dublin in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred in the Drumcairn Estate in Tallaght.
The 20-year-old man was taken to Tallaght University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
A man in his 30s was arrested and is being held at a garda station in Dublin.
Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone in the Drumcairn Estate area between 3am and 4am, or anyone with video recordings – including motorists with dash cam footage – from the area is asked to contact Tallaght Garda Station on 01 666 6000, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111, or any Garda station.
