We would Question the Numbers here? There must be more then 90 Alleged Rogue Gardai Suspended. There are at least 20 in Jail, at present, serving Sentences, from Theft, Drugs, Sex Assaults, Peeping Toms, and More.

Some 14 members have been accused of theft/forgery/fraud, 13 are accused of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, and nine are being probed for disclosure of information/abuse of the Pulse system.

Another nine are off for fixed notice charge interference, while eight are accused of corruption/criminal association, with five being probed for assault/assault causing harm, and four being looked at for drugs/drug related.

A TOTAL of 90 Gardai are currently suspended from the force, the latest figures show.

Eleven Gardai are currently suspended after allegations of sexual assault and sexual misconduct were made against them.He also disclosed that another eight members who had been suspended either resigned or retired.

The Commissioner also confirmed that so far this year 137 Gardai had retired from the force while 82 resigned.
