Gardai have issued an urgent appeal to the public A man has been arrested and charged after a serious assault an individual in Dublin city.

The assault occurred near the junction of St Stephen’s Green and Harcourt Street in the capital during the early hours of yesterday morning.A spokesperson said: “Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following an incident of assault which occurred on St Stephens Green West in the early hours of Monday 5th August 2024.

“The incident occurred near the junction of St Stephen’s Green and Harcourt Street at approximately 1:00am.
