Student barman charged over possessing indecent images of children. Mathew Booth of Ravenhill Avenue, south Belfast, appeared at Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday to face ten counts of making indecent images of children between May 2020 and April 2021.

Booth declined to exercise his rights to comment on the charges or to call evidence on his own behalf, as is common practice.

District Judge Mark Hamill returned the case to Downpatrick Crown Court, on a date to be fixed, and freed Booth on his own bail of £500.
