How could Tadgh Lonergan, 28, from Tipperary, Continue being a GAA Referee, while on Bail for Rape Charges. Lonergan was Jailed last month on the Violent act of Rape. Lonergan got Seven Years Jail, but again, Why was the Rapist allowed, Referee, underage Matches for Two Years, while on Bail, Awaiting the Courts.

In a statement the GAA said the organisation does not have a requirement under its codes of behaviour requiring members to disclose criminal charges.

The spokesman said: “Each case is dealt with on an individual basis. The GAA is not in a position to comment on any individual cases.”
