She has been unable to qualify for assistance from the council to get a house due to her name being on her mother’s house deeds.

However, her mum’s house is in “a state of disrepair”, meaning it is not liveable for her, especially for her newborn son, Daniel.

The house is also tied up in the Fair Deal Scheme which means it can’t be sold.

A KILDARE mother and eight-week-old son were forced to sleep in the car as the house was left in “such bad condition”.

Mary Rock, a first-time mother from Kildare, has found herself struggling to find a home after her mum’s home became deemed “not liveable”.
