Reflections by Fr. Shay Cullen: Human trafficking: modern sex slavery of children. “…What worse crime is there against children than to lure, groom and force young teenage children into modern slavery to be sold as sex slaves, to be assaulted, and abused by older men to satisfy their lust and sexual fantasies, for money?’ Comment: Shame on the BBC, after sexual abuse and Jimmy Savile. Where is the confidence of the public in oversight when Huh Edwards continued to receive salary et al, yes the man who pleads Guilty to accessing child abuse images. Let the Courts decide; the world needs deterrence from child sexual abuse urgently. And just one final point if disgraced Casey abused children; his body should be removed from the crypt. His actions were a disgrace.

Fears Gardaí cannot monitor homeless sex offenders after prison release – with five due to walk free, This is going on for years, and the Public, are totally Unaware of the Danger, these Sex Offenders are? Prisoners with No Fixed Abode, are Impossible, to Monitor. These Offenders, have serious previous Convictions, which include rape, serious sexual assault, defilement and sexual exploitation of children, and possession and production of indecent images of children. And on the Street, nobody has a Clue, about their Sordid Past history.
