Disgraced Huw Edwards faces jail TODAY after he was sent sexual images and video of children as young as 7

Veteran presenter received images in vile WhatsApp chat with convicted paedoHUW Edwards is facing jail today after he admitted being sent sexual photos of children – including videos of a boy as young as seven.

The former BBC presenter, 62, was given the images on WhatsApp by convicted paedo Alex Williams.Edwards could face a maximum of ten years in prison when he is sentenced today.

He previously pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent images of children.

The veteran newsreader was sent 41 images – including two videos of a boy as young as seven – by Williams in a sick WhatsApp chat.

Seven of the images fall under Category A – the most serious classification.
