People from the West of Ireland, have made Contact here, that Michael the Chancer Lynn, is working as a Gardener in Mountjoy Jail. The one-time property developer, from Mayo, was sentenced last February to five-and-a-half years by Judge Martin Nolan at Dublin Circuit Criminal Court. Lynn from Crossmolina, in Mayo, never ever showed any remorse to his victims in all the scams he pulled off before the Crash in 2010. Michael believed he was the Great Lawyer, the Big Man, that came from the small farm in the West. Normally this Blog has sympathy for people who are in Jail but with Lynn we make an exception. We believe there are still hidden assets which the Gardai cannot find and Lynn will never make an apology to his former Legal Partner who he also tried to BLAME. Don’t forget Lynn began his career as a Country and Western singer, he managed to sing, along with others, for the Pope many years ago. He once said, almost 20 years ago, on a platform in Croagh Park, if I was Manager of the Mayo team, they would have Sam Maguire home as a result. Lynn will do his time. Get out. Then we can see what the Chancer will do next. Hopefully he will go back singing love songs at weddings!

Ian Bailey and the Unsolved Murder of Sophie du Plantier in West Cork. After some friends of mine gave me a slight run-down on Moloney’s book, I went back on some old notes and this is what my thoughts are this morning. Bailey had many problems, most of them were self inflicted, but he began as we all know in England and as one of his former colleagues said, in the early 80’s, he was a good journalist. He was married, divorced, disillusioned and finally arrived in Ireland. From working in a fishing factory to various jobs, he was not shy of work and then he met Jules Thomas. Now Bailey had a very high opinion of himself and he had a tendency to rub people up the wrong way with his dark sense of humour but that does not make him a murderer The sad thing is – Alcohol eventually took its toal and in the last three years of his life, when Jules made him leave his home, The Prairie, it all went down hill. He was Dark – Bailey. The tweets were borderline maybe even promiscuous. To meet him he loved to take over the conversation but to say he was a true academic is a step too far, in my opinion. He was offered help by many people from AA to Rehab and friends but he was not willing. The Big Interview, I think, was his worst car crash interview and many would agree. Again all those years ago, the Key Stone Cops destroyed a crime scene with lack of Police Professionalism and there was absolutely no evidence to link Bailey to the Crime – Murder. That is fact. What has me this morning wondering, not just Moloney, on soundbite comments but Micheal Martin’s preoccupation as why he was not tried by a jury in Ireland. No matter which way you look at it, Martin, Tanaiste, is criticising the independence of the DPP. Yes, he needs to brush up on the Rule of Law, and Separation of Powers. Now the cold case, as Jim Sheridan stated is at a crossroads of Political interference because of Martin’s comments and where can it really go from here now. The book “Blow in” by Geraldine Comiskey, which I am awaiting a copy of, (got a brief preview) is more openly balanced. In the meantime this murder inquiry in West Cork is stuck in a political wilderness, in my opinion, and the Author is Micheal Martin (Macron).
